Stone Turtle Tea pet

A small carved turtle figurine with a stone-effect finish, detailed shell, and shaped limbs. Traditionally placed on the tea tray as a tea pet: hot tea is poured over it during a session, and over time the surface may darken and develop a sheen from the tea. Equally at home as a standalone ornament for a desk, shelf, aquarium, terrarium, or garden. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry; avoid detergents, which wash away the color it builds up. Each piece is finished individually, so markings vary.
